1. Do not move money between bank accounts. Any funds needed for your real estate transaction must come only from your own bank account or a gift from a relative. Please call about the steps needed if receiving a gift of funds from a member of your family.
.2 Do not make cash deposits over $200 to your bank account. If this is unavoidable please call your loan officer before you make the deposit.
3. Pay bills on time each month. A 30-day late payment can reduce your credit score by up to 107 points.
4. Do not open or close any credit cards or loans. Do not purchase an automobile while in a real estate transaction. Do not join a credit repair service.
5. Try and keep your credit card balances below 30% of the High Credit Limit at all times. Example: If your Visa has a limit of $1,000 try to keep your outstanding balance at $300 or less.
6.Do not let anyone run your credit report. Don't create new inquires on your report.
7. Do not quit your job.
8. Do not file a dispute on any items on your credit report. Unless your loan officer discusses it with you first.
9. Don't be a "shredder" right now be a "saver". Keep the "paper trail" of all deposits and transfers in and out of your bank accounts. Keep handy all old and new paystubs and bank statements (all pages).
